**What You’ll Do Day-to-Day**

You’ll be SOSE’s ambassador for a just transition to Net Zero in relation to the Land & Forestry sector, including positioning SOSE as a key facilitator for transition across the South of Scotland. Additionally, you’ll oversee SOSE’s drive to develop and embed a new approach to identifying opportunities for the Natural & Blue Economy investments. And you’ll also develop and deliver SOSE’s strategy to support the transition to Net Zero for the Land & Forestry sector across the South of Scotland.

**The Skills and Personal Attributes You’ll Need to Have**

The postholder will need a practical understanding of regenerative agriculture, sustainable land and forestry management as well as significant knowledge of the opportunities and challenges facing the sector from a just transition to Net Zero. You’ll have strong commercial acumen, be a natural collaborator with an ability to forge partnerships internally and externally to influence our strategic direction. And importantly, you’ll have a demonstrable track record of providing strategic and operational leadership.

**What We’ll Offer You**

This role is full time and permanent, although we will consider alternative working patterns.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: £58,816.00-£69,708.00 per year
