**Mitie has a great opportunity for a Officer Development Lead to join the Total Security Management Team.**
The Officer Development Lead is responsible for the development and performance of a number of Retail Security Officers within the agreed geographical area. You will use highly effective coaching and performance management to deliver an industry leading retail security team for our client.
**Main Duties**
- The officer development lead will effectively support and assist the Security Operations Manager in managing the performance of a designated region, ensuring that all contracted and temporary hours are fulfilled by trained officers to the complete satisfaction of those stores/clients.
- Responsible for the Mitie company induction and the comprehensive retail training programme for all newly appointed retail security officers
- Delivery of all corporate training documentation and adhoc training to the required standard to all retail security officers within your identified area of responsibility
- Delivery of ongoing support to all retail security officers to ensure learning is imbedded and supports and ongoing performance improvement
- Analysis of risk data to assist in the delivery of the operational resource to risk model in line with the clients safer communities project
- Reporting to the Security Operations Manager, and deputising for them in their absence - you will take full responsibility for the operational performance of the allocated business in relation to overall targets set, ensuring compliance with key SLA's/KPI's.

- Expected to complete a minimum of level 3 apprenticeship in management development
- A Full UK Driving licence is required
