Medical Practice Administrator

We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Medical Receptionist/Administrator to support our busy GP Practice in NHS Scotland.
Key Responsibilities- Assist with the daily operation of the practice, jointly opening the practice 3 mornings each week.
- Handle general phone enquiries and provide excellent customer service.
- Manage appointments and coordinate patient care with healthcare professionals.
- Signpost patients to relevant health services and generate repeat prescription requests.
- Maintain accurate records, file correspondence, and action results.
- Provide administrative support, including audio-typing and other office duties.
The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, proficient computer skills, and the ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
Requirements- Familiarity with EMIS, DOCMAN, and SCI Gateway systems is advantageous.
- Ability to meet high demands and maintain a high level of productivity.
Experience in General Medical Practice is preferred but relevant transferable skills will be considered.
Working Hours and SalaryThe practice operates:
- Monday and Wednesday: 8am-7pm
- Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday: 8am-6pm
Salary: £27,500 per annum, dependent on experience.
