Brothers of Charity Services (Scotland) are one of the largest care and support providers in the Scottish Borders.

We are currently recruiting for a Care Coordinator who will be responsible for leading a team of Support Workers, undertaking staff supervision and appraisals, and ensuring effective team communication. You will be responsible for creating person centred support plans, ensuring they remain relevant to meet the care and support needs of our supported people. You will ensure compliance with National Care Standards and related regulations, delivery of best practice and contribute to inspection processes and outcomes for quality improvement.

To be considered for the role of Care Coordinator it is essential that you have or are working towards an SVQ III in Health and Social Care with supervisory units or PDA. You will demonstrate an understanding of leading social care services with in-depth knowledge of the Adult Support and Protection Act along with a solid understanding of regulatory framework. You will have the ability to lead, inspire and develop a team to ensure the care and support needs of our supported people are met.

As Care Coordinator you will work 37.5 hours per week, with a remuneration package of between £30,000 to £33,000 per annum.

To be eligible for this role you are required to have acceptable membership of the PVG scheme, become registered with an appropriate regulatory body within 3 months of the start of your employment.
