**Working pattern**: Full Time - 08:30 - 16:30 Monday - Friday (flexibility required)

**About the **Quality Controller** role**:
As a valued member within the Business, you’ll support the Quality Manager in ensuring both company and industry standards and procedures are developed, implemented, monitored, and followed. Using your initiative, tact, and meticulous approach, you’ll have the confidence to juggle tasks, solve problems as well as collaborate with key stakeholders to achieve high quality operational outcomes that benefit the Business and our customers.

**Key responsbilities of our **Quality Controller**:

- Ensure all Quality records are maintained, accurate and up-to-date
- Maintain the integrity of Quality documents for document control including procedures and work instructions regarding document Identification, version control and review etc
- Co-ordinate internal audits to schedule and train to become an internal auditor
- Review and assist in ‘Risk Base thinking’ processes across the Business
- Record and update Quality records concerning any identified non-conformance, investigation of root cause, implementation and review of corrective action.
- Ensure all calibration references and equipment are maintained and have been calibrated within its required calibration period by a UKAS accredited laboratory
- Review third-party calibration certificates for our equipment to ensure equipment accuracy and integrity
- Monitor the annual drift of equipment and ensure data is recorded, clear and within the agreed specifications
- Review monthly checks of equipment to the specified requirements

**Desirable**:

- Interest in advancing a career in quality management
- An understanding of weighing processes, in particular conformance with ISO 17025 calibration standards is an advantage.
