With our well respected Mechanical Assembler moving away, we’re now in a position to take on a new Mechanical Assembler to join our small team of four, in order to take on responsibility for day to day assembly and basic product testing.

What experience will you need?
You’ll be an experienced Mechanical Assembler, comfortable using a range of hand tools such as spanners and torque wrenches. You’ll be happy following mechanical assembly diagrams and instructions, and checking your work against drawings.

As an experienced Mechanical Assembler you’ll know this already but to be clear, you’ll be confident in working with metal component parts, using hand tools to assemble the finished product, following detailed instructions carefully and accurately. You'll also know that paperwork comes with this job too, which I'm sure you're very happy to hear. You'll have a good idea of what you're doing where this is concerned but we'll get you up to speed with our processes tooIt would be great if you have some experience of general engineering workshop skills too.

If you have all, some or just one or two of the following skills and experience, this would be a real advantage but we're happy to train you up and to give you the support you need to be great at your new job if you don't have any of the following. The most important thing to us is your attitude and capability to do a good job:
pipe fitting (flanges)
know your way around a computer and a mouse for very basic recording of part numbers and so on
experience of following electrical layout diagrams and electrical wire assembly
experience of using testiong rigs to check your assembled product
using overhead lifting equipment to move heavy parts

**Job title**: Mechanical Assembler

**Location**: Witney, commutable from Burford, Carterton, Eynsham, Oxford and surrounding areas.

**Working hours**: 37.5 hour working week 07:00 -15:30 Monday to Thursday, 07:00-12:30 Friday

**Pay rate**: We’re looking to pay a very good salary plus a great benefits package so please do get in touch so we can consider your requirements
