Mechanical Fitter Specialist
First Base is looking for a skilled Mechanical Fitter Specialist to work on our bespoke aircraft refuelling vehicles.

The successful candidate will have experience in vehicle building, preferably with HGV background, and knowledge of welding (TIG/MIG) and basic fabrication techniques.

Key responsibilities include:
  1. Building and assembling mechanical components on custom-built aircraft refuelling vehicles.
  2. Interpreting engineering data, such as drawings and schematics.
  3. Performing basic fabrication tasks and adhering to safety protocols.

We estimate the salary for this position to be around £27,000 - £34,000 per annum, based on industry standards and the location.

Salary: £27,000 - £34,000 per year

Working Hours: 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday 08:00am - 16:30pm

Previous experience with aircraft refuelling vehicles is advantageous.
