Litmos Training Content is a fast-growing library of over 2,000+ highly engaging courses in areas such as cybersecurity, leadership and management, health and wellbeing, diversity and inclusion, workplace safety, and many more. The product enjoys a reputation of being innovative, authoritative, and learner centric. Our goal is to maximize our customer's success by delivering the best packaged content product in the market.

The Litmos Training Content team is located across three continents, includes product and project managers, instructional designers and digital designers. Instructional designers are at the center of our course development process and work closely with the broader team. You'll be joining a tight-knit team who are passionate about what they do and have fun and support each other while getting the work done.

**Role**:
The Instructional Designer is responsible for developing innovative and high-quality e-learning. Working within the Content Development team, the role is responsible for designing learning strategies, researching source material, and writing outlines and content for courses.

The role contributes to developing creative learning solutions, is ultimately responsible for the quality and appropriateness of learning strategies and works closely with members of the team to execute ideas.

**Key responsibilities include**:

- Develop training in accordance with project briefs
- Research, review, analyse and assemble source content
- Write learning strategies and course outlines
- Write and structure content in course storyboards with recommendations for interactivity, user experience and visual elements
- Write course storyboards that align with established templates and styles guides
- Review existing courses and revise to include content changes and user experience improvements
- Peer review storyboards
- Review courses at each stage of production and quality assure for content accuracy, appropriate interactivity and user experience
- Write course information and metadata such as course descriptions
- Research new and emerging education best practices and suggest improvement initiatives

**Qualifications, skills and experience**
- Qualification in Education, Communications or similar
- Minimum two years professional experience in instructional design or relevant occupation
- Solid understanding of educational principles and methodologies
- Excellent written language skills, including writing in plain language, structural editing, copy editing, and proof reading
