We are looking for an enthusiastic and highly motivated Community Care Officer who wants to make a real difference to the lives of vulnerable adults living in the Ashfield Hucknall areas. This is an exciting time to join the Ashfield South and Hucknall Ageing Well Team. We embed the principles of strength based, person centred and integrated working.

We are based in Sutton in Ashfield and have excellent relationships with our key health colleagues including Community nursing service, Specialist nurses, Occupational Therapist, Physiotherapist and General Practitioners. We are seeking to appoint 2 Community Care Officers to join our team. No qualifications are required for this role. Experience is desirable, full training and induction will be provided. The worker will be required provide assessments with older adults with complex needs. We aim to help people to maintain health and wellbeing and remain living independently in the community. We provide a multi-disciplinary approach to provide appropriate levels of support. An enthusiasm for social care, positive attitudes and values, and being eager to learn and develop will be key to success in this position.

We offer a comprehensive induction relative to the role: the opportunity to work in a supportive, friendly team with a 'can do' approach. You will be joining a well-established and supportive team and able to access regular professional supervision and group learning sessions together with being supported to attend training to progress your career.
