**Job Title: Support Worker**

As a Support Worker, your main role will be to assist clients in maintaining their dignity and self-pride. This includes providing support with their hair, makeup, and nails. In addition, you will be responsible for encouraging clients to engage in hobbies and other healthy activities.

**Job Requirements**:

- Previous experience in a similar role.
- A good command of English and ability to write reports
- Own vehicle and valid driver's license and willingness to travel. (desirable)

**Duties may include, but are not limited to**:

- Assisting clients with personal care tasks, such as dressing, undressing, washing, bathing, and using toilet facilities.
- Supporting with the preparation, cooking, and serving of meals, snacks, and drinks.
- Performing general housework duties, including changing beds, laundry, ironing, tidying, and light cleaning.
- Providing companionship and mental stimulation through participating in activities and hobbies.
- Accompanying clients to appointments, day trips, outings, shopping, or other errands.
- Assisting with clerical and communication tasks, like making phone calls, paying bills, and completing forms.
- Supervising and administering medication as needed, while maintaining accurate records.
- Monitoring health-related conditions, including diet and fluids, and keeping appropriate records.
- Responding to emergencies in a timely manner.
- Maintaining communication between all parties within the organization.
- Ensuring proper record-keeping and effective handovers to pass on relevant information.

A salary of £12 per hour.

**Job Type**: Permanent

Pay: £12.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 20 per week

Day range:

- Every weekend
- Monday to Friday

Shift:

- Day shift
- Night shift

Ability to commute/relocate:

- South London: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (preferred)

**Education**:

- GCSE or equivalent (preferred)

**Experience**:

- Support Work: 1 year (required)

**Language**:

- Urdu (required)

Licence/Certification:

- Driving Licence (preferred)

Work Location: In person

Expected start date: 29/04/2024
