**Children’s Support Worker / Care Assistant**
Basic Salary - £19,500 to £22,500
**Overtime and Sleeping night allowance is payable in addition to basic salary above**

ARC HD Services provides individually tailored residential care for vulnerable young people experiencing social, emotional and mental health difficulties.
Our homes are unique; small and friendly with just 2/3 residents in each and the dedicated, professional staff team are critical to their success. We are currently looking for a dedicated, caring Support Worker to join our team on the outskirts of Lymington. We are looking for either full time or part time staff.
- Provide support and life skills in residents daily lives.
- Support the young people towards independent living.
- Assist is developing their self-belief and coping skills.
- Accompany residents on activities and appointments.
- Communicate with specialist workers & Registered Manager regarding any concerns.
- Attend team meetings and promote positive & effective communication with co-workers, service users and parents.
- Regularly update documentation and records.
- Celebrate achievements
Whilst previous experience is desirable it is not essential as you will be trained and supported to work with our young people. You do however, need to be passionate about working in this type of environment, to encourage our young people's participation in education, provide social and independence learning opportunities and emotional support.

A typical working week would be 39 hours but this can often be covered in 3 working days. There is also a requirement to work regular weekends (1 day per weekend, 3 out of 4 weekends)
Successful applicants will have a full driving license and be happy to complete an enhanced DBS check.
