The Members Marketing Team

We are small team focused on promoting the **value of membership**, **increasing engagement, and therefore member renewal**.

This includes:

- Identifying **new opportunities**to enhance the member value proposition.
- Supporting/guiding/working with **other teams**in this area
- Managing and evaluating the **existing products and services** to enhance the customer journey, bring efficiencies and identify commercial opportunities.

Practically, this means:

- Leading on institute-wide communication projects (e.g., membership renewals and changes to our Continuing Professional Development Regulations);
- Creating comms to support some key audiences. This includes new members.
- Supporting the Diversity and Inclusion agenda (Black Members, D&I, Women in Finance Communities)

We cover retention, content, product, and event marketing.

**Overall purpose this role of Senior Marketing Executive**

The main purpose of the Senior Marketing Executive will be the delivery of the marketing, campaign and engagement activities for our products and services. The role holder will be expected to initiate and maintain strong relationships with a diverse array of stakeholders across the business. The role holder will also be required to be a strong ambassador for the team, position themselves as a marketing expert and a brand champion.

**Senior Marketing Executive responsibilities include**:

- Develop, implement, and monitor effective and innovative marketing and communication plans to deliver the member portfolio, with minimal or no supervision. Develop and implement specific audience messaging.
- Produce high quality reporting, accounting for all customer touch points. Provide the Senior Marketing Manager with monthly reports and produce top level stakeholder reports when required.
- Take ownership at meetings. This includes initiating project or campaign 'kick-off' meetings and subsequent follow up meetings, always keeping the Senior Marketing Manager in the loop when not in attendance.
- Provide the Marketing Executive with guidance, knowledge, and expertise on a regular basis.

Specific duties will vary from time to time in line with the business needs.

**Requirements include**:
Qualifications and experience
- Marketing qualification and/or strong marketing experience is essential (3 years minimum).

Key skills
- Practical experience of developing marketing communications plans online and offline.
- Ability to deliver measurable ROI on activities to support campaign and monthly reporting.
- Strong experience in stakeholder management.
- Experienced with social media campaign management.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Excellent copywriting for all platforms.
