Due to an internal promotion, we are delighted to advertise the position of UK Sales Director.

We are looking for an experienced people leader to join our UK Executive Team, who will be responsible for setting and delivering the overall sales strategy of the organisation. With responsibility for all aspects of sales including new & used Truck, Bus & Coach, Power Solutions, Fleet, Rental, and Pre-Sales Technical, your main purpose will be to develop and improve Scania’s brand performance in the United Kingdom, inspiring a diverse team, increasing customer loyalty and contributing to the profitable growth of Scania.

**Responsibilities**
- Embed the Scania Sales mindset across the organization
- Represent the Sales area in the Scania UK Leadership Team
- Collect and analyse sales data to create sales plans, forecasts, objectives and targets
- Engage and motivate the sales teams. Take responsibility for annual performance reviews, succession planning, talent management and employee engagement across the Sales function
- Be visible in the Dealer network, developing business and responding to feedback
- Regularly interact with and visit customers
- Monitor market and competitor activity, trends and demands
- Ensure relevant financial and statistical reports are compiled and analysed to drive improvements
- Identify new business opportunities
- Ensure the Sales teams develop and promote Scania products and services to new and existing customers, building, and developing customer relationships

**Experience**
- Director-level leadership experience, ideally in a Sales or related role
- P&L responsibility
- Ability to contribute to strategic leadership discussions, helping to develop the overall business
