You will work closely with the Managing Director and senior management team. You will proactively lead the wider sales, support, and develop teams to achieve key KPI's.

**Key Responsibilities**

Selling a high-quality manufactured range of storage products
Managing a large team comprising Business Development and Sales functions.
Tasked with the overall growth and tactical direction of the sales team.
Manage sales pipeline and quote bank with clear sales KPI's.
Overall accountability for all sales territories.
Selling to distributors, dealers, FF&E companies, local authorities, end users.
Dealing with order values ranging from £100-£80k with typical orders ranging from £5,000-£25k.
Represent the company at trade shows, events, and conduct company CPD presentations to clients where needed.
Being aware of competitors products and activities including new products, strategies, and marketing campaigns.
Regular contact with MD with sales plans and future growth plans.
Working in conjunction with a very effective internal team that will assist with generating leads and supporting the sales and business development function.
Will be responsible for specific training of all salespeople.

**Competencies required for role**:
An established and capable team motivator, able to get the best from the wider sales and development teams.
Able to deal with large key accounts.
Naturally motivated and self-driven to achieving individual sales growth.
Capability to sell fabricated or storage products (would consider any construction manufacturing background).
Able to generate specification and stimulating demands with local authorities, architects, and contractors.
Although an account management bias position must have a strong hunter mentality.
Strong negotiation skills and ability to deal with contractual procedures and responsibilities.
Excellent influencing and communication skills; well-spoken and personable; able to get on with diverse personalities.
Commercially very strong with good analytical and decision-making abilities.

**Qualifications / Skills & Experience**

Significant and proven B2B sales experience. Ideally for a manufacturer within a fast-paced environment.
Proven and established leadership sales experience.
Track record of superior performance metrics as demonstrated by sales growth.
Excellent negotiation skills.
Strong decision-making abilities.
Strong people manager with solid experience of leading and motivating a successful sales team.

**Location: Midlands**
**Salary: Up to £65k plus commission. Target commission earnings up to £30k.**
