This position sits in our **Marketing & Technology** service based in London. We combine data, technology, creative content, and paid media to crack brands' business problems & drive revenue through a variety of digital marketing solutions like ad campaigns, augmented reality, and chatbots. Our clients include ASOS, Just Eat Takeaway, Twitch, TikTok, and The White Company.

**JOB PURPOSE**

As a Resource Planner you will have a view of the entire creative output of the agency, from paid social campaigns, to chatbots and augmented reality lenses. In this key operational role, you will sit in our Production and Resourcing department, alongside our team of Producers, reporting into the Senior Resource Manager.

You will assist a Senior Resource Manager with running weekly meetings with various teams in the agency and resourcing for the Account Planning, Strategy, Tech and Media departments. You will source and book Freelance resource, working with our internal roster as well as external Recruitment partners. You will be responsible for sending timesheets and processing reminders as well as flagging resource capacity across the DEPT network. You will be trained to use Harvest and Forecast systems and expected to own the administrative management of these tools.

You'll be a highly motivated and exceptionally organised person, with an appreciation for design and creativity. You will be able to work well in a fast-paced environment and be a great communicator. The role will involve being able to gather information from lots of people and processing quickly and clearly. You'll be able to assist / cover Senior Resource Manager, quickly understand the needs of a project and match them with the skills of our Creative Planners and Designers. Roles overlap and blur at DEPT® so you'll get to know the individual skills and working style of every Designer and Creative Planner in depth, ensuring we can assemble the right team for the job.

**KEY RESPONSIBILITIES**

The role of the Resource Planner is exciting and fast-moving. In this role, you will:

- Manage the flow of account, strategy, media and tech work through the agency by ensuring a good match between the brief/task and the resource you assign.
- Maintain an accurate understanding of all current and upcoming creative projects
- Work with Account Planners, Heads of Tech, Strategy and Media to assemble the right team
- Plan resource allocation based on quarterly long term planning, fortnightly resource meetings and daily adjustments
- Review daily workloads and ensure all resource has the optimum allocation
- Communicate assigned workload and any changes to relevant teams and individuals
- Source, book and manage freelancers
- Report on project status, workloads and timelines
- Provide training on essential project management tools used by the agency including Forecast and Harvest.
- Ensure all staff are logging time and timesheets

In addition, you will:

- Work with the team to maintain a roster of excellent freelance contacts
- Maintain effective, professional relationships with team members and colleagues
- Participate in team training/meetings and events when asked

**SKILLS AND PREVIOUS EXPERIENCE**

- Experience at a digital/creative agency

- Excellent organisational skills and a high attention to detail
- Experience working with scheduling and workflow management software
- Ability to react quickly within a fast-paced environment

- A love for learning new things and exploring new formats
