The company is formed of three divisions - Central London, Heritage and Property Services, as shown below. We have two offices (Mill Hill and Soho). The main reporting office for the Planner role is subject to agreement with the ideal candidate.


The Planner will be a key contributor to securing future construction projects for each of Quinn Londons’ three divisions.


Reporting to the Planner Manager and working in partnership with the bids and technical teams, the Planner will develop compelling construction methodologies and indicative

programmes of work.


The ideal candidate will:


  • Have greater experience in our Central London sectors however, experience within our Heritage and Property Services sectors would beneficial;
  • Be experienced with developing programmes, logistic plans and methodologies for tender stage submittals;
  • Be an enthusiastic and tenacious character who wants to be part of a developing and growing team; and
  • Be prepared to contribute to new initiatives and be adaptable to the shifting requirements of the business.



Key accountabilities:

  • Produce tender stage programmes and methodologies to the scope of works, client expectation, project objectives, deliverables and Quinn London’s standards
  • Once the contract is awarded, develop the tender programme in co-ordination with Project Team into a fully integrated baseline programme


External and internal interactions:

  • Internally: Planner Manager, Head of Bids, divisional leaders and key stakeholders of all levels
  • Externally: Clients and consultants, as required


Technical expertise:

  • Tender stage: An excellent ability to understand each tenders key programme and methodology requirements and drivers
  • Prepare compelling, compliant content accurately in plain English


Leadership qualities

  • Coaching others - includes delegating, coordinating, appraising, and mentoring colleagues


Key experience Essential:

  • Experience of planning in a work winning/ bid team
  • Main contractor within the construction industry background
  • Experience of working on large-scale construction sector programmes
  • Competent user of ASTA, as well as good IT skills, including Microsoft Office
  • Ability to multi-task and work under pressure
  • Excellent attention to detail
