**Job Outline & Responsibilities**:
Main duties and responsibilities include:
- Assist in the development of all marketing, both on and offline, literature and media. Day-to-day coordination of the weekly e-newsletter, to include news gathering and editing.
- A proactive approach to the creation of photographs and videos.
- Assist with all social media activities including creation of content, posting content and reviewing technologies and trends.
- Assist in the creation of press releases.
- Day-to-day coordination of website content (including collating, writing, editing, distributing news) and ensuring all content is up to date.
- Update and maintain site-wide digital signage system.
- Design internal marketing material. x Assist in coordination and marketing of all events.
- Assist the marketing team with the administration of The Holroyd Community Theatre and attend events as required.
- Assist the International Director with the collation of marketing materials for distribution to relevant bodies.
- Support with Old Moretonian Events and Reunions
- Undertake daily administrative tasks to ensure the functionality and coordination of the department’s activities.
- _Additional:_ Any other task under the direction of your line manager or member of the Senior Leadership Team within the reasonable scope of the role.
**Person Specification**:
**Qualifications**:
- Educated with a relevant degree or equivalent professional qualification.
Experience
- Suitable for a recent graduate however experience within a marketing role would be advantageous or evidence of professional development within marketing.
- An interest in digital channels.
- Knowledge of existing and emerging web tools and social media platforms. Knowledge of Adobe software, HTML, CMS, Mailchimp, photography, videography would be advantageous.
- The willingness and desire to learn is necessary.
**Skills**:
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong organisational and planning skills.
- Excellent time management skills and the ability to multi-task and prioritise work.
- High attention to detail.
- IT proficient particularly in Microsoft Office, Internet systems.
