An exciting new role in our Purchasing department is now available at the British Ironwork Centre

Primary responsibilities include:

- Manage purchasing and procurement activities and processes
- Source and develop new product lines
- Create accurate forecasts of product demand based on past sales and direction from senior management.
- Order stock/services/products/materials and manage the logistics of obtaining the stock in a timely manner in line with business requirements
- Maintaining accurate product inventory levels and system information
- Managing expenditure in line with budgets set
- Review product prices (including those of the raw materials) to ensure we are buying as efficiently as possible.
- Ensure the purchasing system is kept up to date, stock booked in, ordered correctly and accurate
- Assist with product development, products from ideology to production
- Show support by adapting to the needs of the business as required
- Meet or exceed targets and KPI’s set
- Being available for correspondence outside of typical working hours due to time zone differences if required.
- Liaise with different channel managers (online, store, telephone, marketing) and review channel performance in order to maximise purchasing accuracy
- Supporting the business in a range of extracurricular activities and promotions when required
- Available for international travel
- Excellent communication and written skills
- Excellent planning and analytical forecasting skills
