**The Role: Assistant Buyer**
- Co-ordinate, collate, analyse, and process consolidated invoicing for key suppliers;
- Prepare and issue requests for quotations;
- Processing of requisitions into purchase orders working within the authority spend levels of the company;
- Maintain supplier records and good receipting as required;
- Work with internal teams to resolve invoice queries, reports and cost analysis;
- Proactively manage committed costs, and clearing down old costs where required;
- Take all reasonable steps to ensure appropriate confidentiality.
- 1+ years of experience in a Buyer, Purchasing, Procurement or similar role;
- Strong Excel skills;
- Fantastic communication skills and ability to work in a team.
