Brand new role of Project Support Officer within the People team, reporting into a newly created role of Strategic HR Project lead, this key role will work across the people team to create and implement better, inclusive ways of working.

You are supporting on key strategic projects that are currently underway, and as Project Support Officer you will ensure that all key parties are informed and consulted, that project plans are maintained and updated, and outputs and results communicated.

You will be:

- Supporting the Strategic HR Project lead with research, communication, admin and logistics support keeping plates spinning and key stakeholders up to date and informed.
- Supporting the HR Policy and projects specialist - uploading and updating policies on the self serve HR platform, tracking release dates and drafts; maintaining guidance and how to notes.
- Compiling, distributing, analysing and reporting on surveys and reports.
- Researching assigned topics robustly and preparing reports and papers for use within the people team and wider stakeholder groups.

You will be working within a complex, matrix based education organisation and as such must demonstrate the ability to work at pace, absorb pressure, and deliver to deadline, with changing priorities. You will be working with some senior stakeholders, and on multiple workstreams, so must be resilient, calm, considered and a team player.

Ideally you will have a CIPD qualification, or working towards one or have specifically relevant experience in an HR AND education environment. Key skills include researching, analysing, writing and reporting, use of IT systems to a high standard, and ability to present findings to different audiences in person.

Ideally you will able to commute easily to the Head Office in Peterborough, but you will need to travel to London for meetings, and sometimes to schools based throughout the UK.
