**Key Responsibilities as a PR Account Manager**:
- Formulates PR plans in conjunction with account director
- Calls and coordinates team meetings
- Manages client expectations and ensures tasks are allocated appropriately to team members
- Takes ownership for the delivery and successful implementation of key account processes
- Works with the Account Directors in ensuring account profitability i.e., monitoring servicing levels on an ongoing basis and ensuring campaigns fall within budget
- Develops and maintains long-term client relationships
- Works with account director to ensure campaign KPIs are delivered
- Briefs and manages account executives and assistants
- Takes the lead on growing existing accounts, selling in additional agency services and spotting growth areas
- Works with account director to produce client proposals to deadline
- Negotiates and manages large scale endorsements / brand partnerships / blogger or celebrity contracts
- Works alongside account directors on new business pitches
- Implements and advises on best practice ways of working across areas of key expertise
- Leads on company ethics, pioneers company culture, eg regularly organises team outings, internal training sessions and proposes company initiates
- Works alongside social media team to ensure strategies are followed and campaigns implemented
**Skills / Experience**:
- 2-3 years PR experience, ideally agency-side
- Demonstrate strong copywriting skills
- Previous experience of working in B2B PR and solid relationships with the media
- Have solid experience of managing budgets
- Have a broad range of press and influencer contacts
- Be a successful negotiator, capable of maintaining regular client contact on a formal and informal basis to further underpin the relationship
- Be capable of coordinating team activities, leading by example to ensure plans are delivered on time, in budget and to a high standard
- Be an effective team manager, who can promote a team ethic to deliver against company objectives and initiatives
- Be a creative thinker with confidence to lead brainstorms and actively contribute to company idea generation
- Produce near-final drafts of messaging documents, strategies and plans
- Have solid social media knowledge and experience of implementing digital and social campaigns
