**Nixon McQuade** is excited to partner with a leading business in **Dungannon** in their search for a dedicated **Inventory Controller** to join their team.

The **Inventory Controller** will play a crucial role in overseeing the efficient operation of the Stores Department, ensuring the accurate receipt, storage, and ensuring prompt and accurate flow of materials to Production in a safe and efficient manner.

**Responsibilities**:

- Manage and maintain accurate inventory records, ensuring stock levels are sufficient to meet operational needs.
- Coordinate with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of goods and resolve any discrepancies in orders.
- Conduct regular inventory audits to identify and address discrepancies or issues in a timely manner.
- Optimise inventory processes and systems to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including procurement and logistics, to streamline inventory management processes.
- Monitor inventory turnover rates and implement strategies to minimize excess or obsolete stock.
- Prepare and analyse inventory reports to provide insights to management and support decision-making.

**What you’ll need**:

- 3 years’ experience in inventory / stock management or related roles.
- Strong knowledge of inventory management principles and best practices.
- Excellent organisational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Prior experience in the electrical industry is a plus.
