Birchensale Middle School is a popular 5-form entry middle school with pupils on roll aged 9-13 years. We are a happy, vibrant learning community, with high aspirations for the children in our care and the staff team that supports them.

We are looking for a Head of Department for English, preferably with primary experience and to carry out the functions of a teacher in accordance with the Teacher Standards and the stated aims and objectives of the Birchensale Middle School.

Birchensale Middle School is a mixed, non-selective, non-denominational middle school in Worcestershire serving students from the age of 9-13 years. The middle school is situated in Redditch and has approximately 600 students on roll.

Birchensale Middle School runs a successful breakfast club that was identified as good by Ofsted.
