**We are seeking a diligent and detail-oriented Finance Assistant to join our team on a part-time basis. The Finance Assistant will play a crucial role by handling various financial tasks including chasing invoices, managing supplier invoices, reconciling credit cards, processing payments and receipts, reconciling statements, and assisting with monthly accounts reporting.**

**Responsibilities**:

- **Chase outstanding invoices from customers and clients**:

- **Manage supplier invoices, ensuring accuracy and timely processing**:

- **Reconcile credit card transactions and ensure compliance with company policies**:

- **Process payments to vendors and suppliers accurately and on time**:

- **Handle receipts and maintain organized records of financial transactions**:

- **Preparation of monthly accounts reports**:

- **Assist with VAT preparation and submission**:

- **Adhere to company policies and procedures regarding financial transactions.**:

- **Must be proficient in using Sage accounting software**:

- **Perform other duties as assigned by the finance manager or supervisor**

**Qualifications**:

- **Previous experience in a similar finance role preferred**:

- **Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other accounting software**:

- **Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry**:

- **Excellent organisational and time management skills**:

- **Ability to work independently**:

- **Good communication skills, both verbal and written**:

- **Knowledge of basic accounting principles**

**Ability to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment. A minimum of 2 years experience required in a similar role.**

**Job Type**: Part-time

**Salary**: £13.00-£15.50 per hour

Expected hours: 10 - 16 per week

Schedule:

- No weekends
