**Responsibilities**:

- Implementing a detailed schedule of segmental sales & cost analysis, including developing methods of recording and reporting to meet new accounts analysis requirements.
- Responsible for recording sales and cost analysis, departmental summaries to required formats, including sales & cost analysis reports.
- Continuously working on costing, pricing and outsourcing projects to maximise profits.
- Assisting with incoming queries/information and day to day requirements.
- Working with the Finance team to assist in the preparation of monthly and annual accounts, provision of accounts information and budgets as required, including covering in the event of absence or necessity.
- Assisting with processing and analysis of information relating to purchase ordering systems, sales, cash book and petty cash through to relevant ledgers.
- Supporting Sales Managers/Directors in producing other reporting and analysis as required.
- Providing cover for the weekly payroll when required, including processing of employee information including detailed payroll analysis to reporting segments.
- Monthly analysis of P&L for sales, cost of sales with purchase analysis and overheads.
- Checking the validity of postings by analysing the nominal reports.
**Requirements**:

- ACCA/CIMA Qualified, studying towards or Qualified by Experience.
- Strong Excel skills.
- Minimum 1-year previous experience in a fast paced SME.
- Sage Accounts & Sage Payroll experience desired.
