**The Role**:
An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Band 5 to develop their knowledge and skills in a community setting. This role is within a supportive environment offering clinical supervision and CPD opportunities.

To provide a dietetic service to a range of patients within the Lanarkshire area in a defined geographical area.

This would include providing care to patient’s who require nutrition support in their own homes and in a care home setting. This includes Oral Nutrition Supplements and Enteral Feeding.
- The role will also provide group and MDT working opportunities to deliver nutritional and dietetic care.
- This job is within a team made up of band 6 Dietitians and Health Care Support Workers.
- This job offers CPD opportunities and Clinical Supervision

**What we'll need you to bring**:

- Registered Dietitian with valid HCPC Registration
- The post holder will be required to demonstrate excellent team working skills with the ability to work using own initiative
- Effective listening, communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work with people and as part of a multidisciplinary team
- Excellent time management skills
- Working knowledge of basic information technology

**It would be great if you also have**:

- Honours degree/ equivalent or Post Graduate diploma in Dietetics.
- Experience of working in general ward or community clinical setting
- Experience of multi-disciplinary team working
- Experience of working within a domiciliary visit setting
- Interest and experience of working in nutritional support, enteral feeding and General Dietetics (GP clinics) Car driver with a full, valid UK/EU/EEA licence.**Contract type**:
