A small family run 3 star hotel on the outskirts of Chelmsford, offering a 5 star service to all of its guests is looking for an Experienced hotel full time receptionist to join the team.

For this role, we are seeking an enthusiastic and experienced hotel receptionist with a proven record in delivering excellent customer service to deliver a warm and vibrant welcome to all guests arriving at the hotel. Equally when guests check out, we want them to leave happy and satisfied, looking forward to their next visit and therefore a ‘smiley’ positive attitude is a must. Excellent command of English language both written and spoken is a must.

Your main duties will include:

- Answering all telephone calls
- Taking reservations for both restaurant and hotel and accurately inputting all bookings in the Rezlynx front of house system
- Produce all guests bills in readiness for their check out
- Deal with all guest enquiries in a professional manner
- Have an excellent knowledge of the hotel and the facilities is has to offer to enable the up selling of these services.
- The position if for a minimum of 37.5 hours per week, working 5 early or late shifts out of any 7.
- Due to the location of the hotel and the start and finish times of the shifts own transport is essential.
