Job Summary

Do you want a varied role that combines both Payroll related activity and also generalist HR support to a thriving and busy site?
- Flex Warrington_ are looking for a HR and
_Payroll Officer_ to join our small but ambitious HR team.

Payroll Duties include:

- Manage the monthly payroll process, ensuring an accurate and timely service is maintained
- Administer bonus payments, stock administration and overtime payments, providing relevant data for finance as required
- Ensure payroll costs are within budget, reconcile supplier invoices to ensure accurate billing
- Stay up to date with payroll related legislation and any changes in employee compensation and tax and pension regulations to support the compliance of the business within this area
- Prepare the Gender Pay Gap report for the business
- Support the resolution of payroll queries, ensuring timely and accurate resolution.
- Assist with administration of P11Ds and End of Year processes.

HR duties include:

- Represent HR in appropriate meetings including interviews, 1st level sickness, discipline and grievance hearings
- Ensuring HR information is kept up to date e.g. HR Portal/ Intranet and Development platform
- Ensure the company HRIS is maintained and actions approved
- Help manage communications and site events for the department
- Respond to employee queries and support HR surgeries
- Support the HR department with their payment and administrative tasks.

Key Skills and Competencies:
- The ideal applicant would have either some Payroll or HR work experience or relevant (Payroll / HR / Finance related) qualification.- We are looking for someone with a great attitude, willingness to learn and a love of providing a people-centred HR service
- Self-motivated, flexible with a collaborative working style so great team player
- CIPP or CIPD level 3 or above qualification is desirable
- Extensive knowledge and use of a HRIS. Workday experience would be extremely advantageous
- Able to work across multiple systems and platforms
- Passionate to provide high quality customer service.
- Familiar with Microsoft Excel to an advanced level.
- Ensures attention to detail on all inputs and outputs.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise extreme discretion.
- Excellent problem-solving skills.
- Strong numerical aptitude and attention to detail.
- Ability to prioritise and handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
- Eligible to work in the UK
