Canon EMEA is looking for a Contracts Compliance and Governance Lead to join the sales operations team, responsible for creating the end-to-end framework and governance of the Information Technology and Communications Group (ITCG). Acting as “air traffic control”, this role has great opportunity to influence commercial governance internally with our clusters and central sales teams, and externally with our business partners.

A key part of this role is to own both the definition and ongoing management of governance and SOX controls for ITCG. Another key metric of this role is project managing or supporting projects that interact with SOX governance and the ITCG commercial model. Through effective collaboration and stakeholder management, the role provides the insight to help support the management of trade-offs between potentially conflicting interests and needs - including between Sales, Finance, Legal, Business Intelligence, Order management and product management. An analytical mind will also be required to manage a lot of the investigation surrounding governance.

In addition to a salary of between £52,000 - £60,000 depending on experience, you'll be eligible for a performance-based bonus of 10%. **What we ask**:
As Contracts Compliance and Governance Lead you will
- Lead a team of two specialists and supports their daily tasks and co-ordinates their activities across the team
- Oversee the overall compliance, contract and governance related processes and activities and coordinates it across the team to find synergies and improve efficiency
- Develop effective contracts, compliance and governance rhythms and compliant processes that mitigate and manage risks
- Drive robust and well embedded internal governance structure across business processes
- Actively give consults to business to ensure decisions are being made in time and appropriately
- Act as key link between operations, internal audit, finance and legal
- Provide team deputy function and supports senior manager with coordination across the team
- Manage the ITCG commercial model, ensuring visibility and governance

In addition, on a regular basis you will:

- Develop governance, contract, compliance, and governance framework
- Implement robust business inspection controls
- Carry out testing procedures working closely with finance & control teams
- Support internal audit and external auditing, including enablement
- Support team with specific projects and tasks in associated area
- Manage the ITCG commercial model, ensuring visibility and governance
