BTS have a fantastic opportunity to join our busy European Operations team, in one of the specialist areas. This vacancy will be based in Portsmouth.

This is a one-year contract (maternity cover) with scope for full time extension.

The Role & Specialism

It’s an exciting time to join the European translations specialism team as we begin to integrate the use of AI to our translation’s projects. You will lead on translations projects for Europe with the support of a project coordinator, as well as partnering with translations specialists in our global offices and units.

Your main accountability will be to ensure all translations projects are run successfully; to time and on

budget, as well as creating and maintaining best practices for the AI tool.

Hours are between 9.00am to 5.30pm (UK) Monday to Friday, but some flexibility may be required.

Specialist Team Objectives

1. Oversee the quality of translations services, addressing quality concerns by providing relevant advice or upskilling.

2. Manage times on new projects and support AM sales with PoV that can improve project success.

3. Look to reduce delivery time, through efficiency and automation. Share best practice with function and contribute to global working groups.

Role Responsibilities

1. (90%) Provide senior project coordination support for European translations projects. This will involve but not be limited to:

- Managing all translation requests for Europe and providing guidance to internal stakeholders
- Working closely with our consulting, digital and design teams to ensure all translation projects are run smoothly, effectively and to time to meet the expected quality standards
- Liaising between translations vendor and internal stakeholders to resolve any queries that may arise during translation
- Assess project risks and issues and provide solutions where applicable
- Ensuring all stakeholders have provided content for translation in the correct format.
- Monitoring translation projects progression to ensure SLA’s and timelines are met and communicating expectations for various project milestones
- Sourcing suitable stakeholders to perform proofreading and quality checks on translated files
- Effectively communicating with internal stakeholders, clients and colleagues to ensure high quality translated materials
- Accurately share data and files between consultants, digital teams and designers and

maintain accurate data on the translations tracker
- Responding within 24hrs to all new translation’s requests
- Work with colleagues from global translations teams to create best practices, and processes and build knowledge

2. (10%) Provide logístical & administrative support. This will involve, but not be limited to:

- Work in close partnership with client and internal account teams to innovate, identify and action recommendations for process improvement that could benefit client and team ways of working
- Maintain accurate data on the businesses ERP (Resource & Financial tracking) system and in line with Operations KPI targets, addressing areas affecting performance targets
- Provide local office management support either a dedicated person of part of the

**Who we are looking for**:
? Familiarity or interest in machine learning (AI) translations tools is desirable but not required
