**Doctors Direct have a new and exciting opportunity for a Junior clinical fellow to work with us at** **Northern Care Alliance Hospital NHS Foundation Trust in Trauma & Orthopaedics.**

We are looking for a dedicated doctor ready to work in a fast-paced environment at a Trust serving more than 300,000 people across North Warwickshire, Southwest Leicestershire and North Coventry. This role would be predominantly based at **Northern Care Alliance** with the opportunity to work extra shifts across the Trusts’ other sites and any of our partner Trusts.

NCA NHS Trust opened in 1948 and provides a range of elective, non-elective, surgical, medical, women’s, children’s, diagnostic and therapeutic services. A full range of sexual health services across Warwickshire is also provided by the Trust.

**The details of the role are**:

- **Grade**: Junior Clinical Fellow
- **Location**: Northern Care Alliance
- **Start date**: ASAP on going until further notice.
- **Shift pattern**: 9:00-17:00, incl. on call
- **Rates**: Negotiable
- **Payment method: PAYE **we do NOT facilitate payment through LTD/umbrella companies

**About the role**:

- Assessing, diagnosing, and managing patients with a wide range of orthopaedic conditions, including fractures, joint problems, spinal issues, and soft tissue injuries. This involves developing treatment plans and overseeing their implementation.
- Assisting in surgeries and gaining more hands-on experience in various orthopaedic procedures. Depending on the level of experience and the hospital’s setup, the Junior Clinical Fellow might have opportunities to perform certain procedures under supervision.
- Taking a more active role in the management of patient cases, providing guidance to junior colleagues such as SHOs and medical students, and collaborating with the multidisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive care.
- Depending on the hospital's setup, Junior Clinical Fellows might participate in on-call rotas, responding to emergencies, and providing immediate care to trauma patients, possibly taking on more senior roles during such situations.
- Valid GMC
- Right to work in the UK
- Clinical attachment complete
- Minimum of 3 months paid experience in the NHS/UK
