This is an exciting time to join our team as the growing season begins. Do you enjoy working outdoors and have an interest in gardening? Are you enthusiastic and hardworking? Are you highly motivated? If so, here is the role awaiting you, undertaking grounds maintenance work, including mowing grassed areas, hedge trimming along with maintenance to shrub and flower beds. Glendale carry out grounds maintenance and landscaping for public sector and commercial clients across the whole of Scotland, with bases in Edinburgh, Falkirk and Aberdeen.

**Who are you?**
- You should be able to adapt to different working conditions as the post is physically demanding.
- You will be reliable and conscientious, have a can-do attitude and willingness to learn with the ability to work on their own initiative.
- It would be advantageous if you have experience using a wide variety of small engine machinery such as strimmer, lawn mower, leaf blower etc but if not full training will be provided.
- A full driving licence and PA1 & PA6 are desirable

If this is of interest to you we can look at an Apprenticeship in Horticulture at Oatridge Agricultural College, SVQ in Parks, Gardens and Green Spaces or Horticulture L3 for you. For people with ambitions to develop a career with us there will be the opportunity to gain tickets for relevant equipment and horticultural qualifications.
