We have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Stakeholder Engagement Consultant to join our team in supporting the delivery of stakeholder engagement for infrastructure, sustainability initiatives and other development projects across the Republic of Ireland and Northern Ireland.

We’re looking for a hard-working, passionate individual who can demonstrate experience in delivering effective communications. Knowledge of stakeholder engagement and infrastructure communications would be an advantage but is not essential.

Our team focuses on engagement, consultation and communications during the consenting, construction or delivery phase of projects. We have an ever-increasing portfolio of work across some of the most high-profile developments and programmes across the island. Our stakeholder engagement helps effective delivery of strategically vital infrastructure including transport, water, industrial, energy and utility schemes. Examples of some of our recent stakeholder engagement work are below:
+ Luas Finglas - public consultation

+ Dublin Airport Authority - North Runway

+ High profile data centre development support

+ Dublin Waste to Energy scheme

+ Shannon Liquid Natural Gas consent

+ Motorway projects and upgrades - north and south

+ Clare castle Decommissioning Project

+ Development of themes, core messages and collateral for multiple audiences and stakeholders, including digital users, the media, local communities, statutory bodies, technical groups and elected representatives.

+ Planning and delivery of events, both physical and virtual, ensuring the safety and wellbeing of all attendees, delivering logistics, developing tailored materials, developing Q&As and briefing colleagues.

+ Supporting consultation delivery, developing surveys, managing stakeholder feedback channels and analysing consultation responses.

+ Liaising with internal and external clients, ensuring a high level of customer service and ensuring accurate, timely reporting.

+ Helping support the growth of the stakeholder engagement service across AECOM, focusing on providing advice and support to teams in Northern Ireland and Republic of Ireland. This will require working collaboratively with a multi-disciplinary team.

Minimum Requirements

+ Experience in a professional communication setting.

**Skills**:
+ Demonstrable ability to understand, interpret and present complex information in a communications setting.

+ Ability to managing multiple workstreams across diverse project/clients/services, within demanding timescales.

+ A proven aptitude to manage clients (either internal or external) and work in a collaborative way across teams/organisations.

+ Excellent written and verbal communication skills, as well as interpersonal skills.

+ Strong use on basic suite of IT packages, including Excel.

Preferred Qualifications

+ Third level qualification in a relevant discipline, including (although not limited to) environmental sciences, planning, social sciences, history, law, communications or marketing
