Fixed Term - Part-time 3 days per week

We are currently recruiting for a part-time Marketing Co-ordinator. The main purpose of the role is to promote the garden centre, its product(s) and its services in line with Company ethos, objectives and business aims. This will include planning and developing marketing ideas and activities across the garden centre, including those on all social media platforms. Working closely with the management/events team to market all Company events, and support with the scheduling of such marketing to optimise engagement and develop the marketing strategy for the garden centre in line with Company objectives.

Main Responsibilities:

- Plan and develop marketing ideas and activities across the garden centre, including those on all social media platforms.
- Working with the management team to develop the marketing strategy for the garden centre in line with Company objectives and facilitate campaigns through sound understanding of the Company products and customer profile.
- Manage and develop campaigns to improve footfall and revenue - including, but not exclusively, taking photos, creating ‘how to’ posts, videos and blogs.
- Working closely with the management/events team to market all Company events, and support with the scheduling of such marketing to optimise engagement.
- Actively encouraging centre-wide use of a content calendar to promote the Company across all relevant social media platforms and to ensure a constant supply of content.
- Develop and maintain an understanding of social media trends (and the full marketing mix) to ensure, and continually increase, levels of customer engagement. Monitor and evaluate engagement as required.
- Reporting and providing analysis of campaign, website and platform performance.
- Building and maintaining relationships with external businesses to organise marketing campaigns and advertisements.
- Manage marketing spends & budgets.
- Production of Company newsletter (Monthly Muddle) to support with internal marketing and communication.
- Working with internal departments to obtain current and up to date ideas and products to promote in store and across social media.
- Use CMS system to maintain Company website to ensure all information is current and correct.
- Shared responsibility for customer queries across social media.
- Creating instore, social and print media advertising, using and developing Meadow Croft branding.
- Monitor the use of point of sale (POS) material across the site.
- Produce artwork for the restaurant team using Meadow Croft Kitchen branding.
- Support other departments, as required, including any reasonable duties within that department.
- Any other reasonable duties as requested by the General Manager/Garden Centre Manager.

Normal hours of work are 8.45am - 5.00pm Monday - Friday. This vacancy is a fixed term, maternity cover (with a possible extension) over 3 day per week.

**Job Types**: Part-time, Fixed term contract
Contract length: 12 months

**Salary**: £16,800.00 per year

Expected hours: No more than 24 per week
