**Event Administrator (Royal Highland Show)**

**Immediate Start - temporary contract until end June 2023**

**£10.90 per hour**

**Hours: Normally Monday to Friday, 9.00AM until 5.00PM but additional hours required during the week of the Royal Highland Show (19 - 25 June)**

**The Role**

**The Society**:
Since 1784, The Royal Highland and Agricultural Society of Scotland (RHASS) has been the respected standard-bearer for farming and rural industry in Scotland. With around 16,000 members, its key remit is to promote Scotland's land-based and allied businesses. A registered charity, the Society plays a pivotal role in the creation of a better understanding of the management of Scotland's land and rural resources.

**Main Duties**:

- Acting as a first point of contact for customers
- Updating information on the team’s Customer Relationship Management system
- Sending confirmation of bookings to clients
- Reporting of bookings to Events team
- Providing support to the RHS Event Manager with logístical and administrative support

**Key Skills**:

- A friendly and professional phone manner, demonstrating excellent customer service
- Accurate Data entry
- Calm under pressure
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Proficient knowledge of the Office Suite, particularly Outlook, Word and Excel
- Ability to plan and prioritise own workload, taking into account various time constraints and pressures
- High level of attention to detail

**Job Types**: Full-time, Temporary contract
Contract length: 2 months

**Salary**: £10.90 per hour
