Tribal Group Plc is a UK-based EdTech business providing market leading software solutions to the global education market, with a mission to "empower the world of education”. We are the UK market leader - with around 65% market share for Student Record Systems in Higher Education. We have an ambitious strategy to build upon our position and support the education market in changing to a SaaS model.
The Role
We are looking for an experienced Account Executive working with our apprenticeship management (Maytas) and Timetabling solution (Semestry). You will play a key part in helping organisations transform their processes into modern ways aligned with best practice and be a vitally important part of delivering Tribal’s ambitious new vision to become an EdTech as a Service provider.
**Key Areas of Expertise**:
Operating with a high degree of autonomy, and with expertise in the SaaS market, key responsibilities will include:
Deliver new Annual Recurring Revenue (ARR) in line with Tribal’s ambitions for its Maytas and Semestry (UK and international) product lines.
Execute sales and business development activities that align with the strategic vision and goals for the business.
Implement lead generation and prospecting strategies.
Provide ownership of sales opportunities through the full buying cycle, working with our marketing and pre-sales teams to align technical solutions with customer problems, including negotiation and close.
Showcase our products with expertise, demonstrating deep knowledge of each product set and conveying the benefits to potential customers.
Gain a comprehensive understanding of the education sector, contributing ideas for development, partnerships, and product enhancements that align with strategic sales goals.
Collaborate at high levels within the customer base, ensuring you understanding their challenges and ambitions to align how Tribal can support them.
Write and review tender documentation to ensure compelling bids and articulate the benefits of choosing our solutions.
Provide detailed sales reports and forecasts to offer strategic insights into sales performance, market opportunities, and challenges.
We have a culture of continuous learning, and weekly role-plays are an important part of practising new skills and setting us up for success. There may also be structured, formal sales training that you will be asked to attend.
In addition, as part of our strategic growth and development there will be role deliverables as an essential part of your day-to-day responsibilities. This includes Sales target and reporting as well as creating a positive environment to work.
The Person
You will have a successful track record in a SaaS sales environment and a passion for identifying and developing the potential of others.

Strong product knowledge and experience in the SaaS products.
Ability to demonstrate an excellent commercial awareness and solid understanding of how to negotiate and close sales opportunities.
Ability to negotiate sales and handle objections.
You will be a natural and clear communicator creating a positive energy and pleasant environment to work in.
Ability to strive to continuously improve customer care and satisfaction ratings.
Experience and knowledge in EdTech is desirable but not essential.
