Talent Acquisition Specialist / Internal Recruiter who has previous experience in a recruitment role, general knowledge of HR practices and employment law, and excellent record keeping and communication skills, is required for a well-established manufacturing company based in Wellingborough, Northamptonshire, East Midlands.

**SALARY**: up to £35,000 per annum

**LOCATION**: Hybrid role - working 3 days from the office in Wellingborough, Northamptonshire and 2 days from home. There will be some travel required to the company’s site in Shildon, County Durham

JOB OVERVIEW

We have a fantastic new job opportunity for a Talent Acquisition Specialist / Internal Recruiter who has previous experience in a recruitment role, general knowledge of HR practices and employment law, and excellent record keeping and communication skills.

As the Talent Acquisition Specialist / Internal Recruiter you will be responsible for designing and implementing recruitment plans for the company, conferring with management to assess and identify staffing needs.

DUTIES

Your duties as the Talent Acquisition Specialist / Internal Recruiter include:
Filling positions within the company

Designing and implementing recruiting systems for the organization

Researching talent acquisition trends

Lead a streamlined, unbiased, and inclusive selection process

Build a talent pipeline for present and future hiring needs

Ensure precise recruitment data management and deliver periodic reports on essential metrics such as time to hire and cost per hire

Handling of administration and record-keeping e.g. approval process

Assist with salary benchmarking where appropriate

Executing recruitment plans efficiently

Drafting and posting job descriptions

Working with marketing to develop creative ways to attract talent

Awareness of market trends to attract talent

Carry out CV and call screening

Carrying out background checks e.g., right to work in the UK

Preparing job offers and contracts

Networking with various institutions and social media

Onboarding process

Assist with various people projects and initiatives

CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS

Previous experience as a recruiter.

Proficient in Word, Excel, Power Point, Outlook

Excellent record keeping

Experience of the full recruitment cycle process

Ability to multitask and prioritise workload

Creative thinker and problem-solving skills

Used to working in a fast-paced environment

General knowledge of HR practices

Regular travel and presence on all sites

Excellent communication skills both written and verbal

A positive can-do attitude

Working knowledge of employment law

Good decision-making skills

Good organizational and time management skills
