Talent Acquisition Specialist

The Emplas Group is seeking a highly skilled Recruitment and HR Administrator to support the strategic recruitment of new individuals into available vacancies. The successful candidate will utilise various data and sourcing approaches to attract a diverse pool of candidates.
Main Responsibilities:
- Proactively manage vacancy attraction through job descriptions, advertising, and social media platforms as required.
- Support managers in the selection process, including arranging interviews, managing candidates, and administering recruitment testing.
- Assist managers with first-level selection, including application sifting, telephone interviews, and face-to-face interviews or testing where necessary.
- Manage communication with all candidates, ensuring they are kept informed throughout the process.
- Review and renew Right to Work documentation as required.
- Coordinate new starter processes, including Induction, hand scanners, DVLA checks, DBS checks, and system updates.
- Monitor recruitment performance and provide regular updates on relevant data to inform monthly reporting.
- Draft and issue offer packs, including offer letters, contracts, and acceptance of offers.
- Collaborate with the Emplas HR Team to ensure compliance with regulatory updates and communicate these changes to new and prospective candidates.
- Proactively resourcing talent pools, identifying alternative sources of candidates, and conducting speculative searches.
- Support the delivery of Reward and Recognition schemes.
- Liaise with managers to administer and support probation reviews for new staff and any disciplinary procedures.
- Maintain attendance records using HR Systems.
- Review AWOL and absence management in conjunction with the wider HR team.
- Manage employee leavers, ensuring Payroll is notified, systems are updated, and exit interviews are conducted – reporting any issues and trends with potential solutions.
- Order, coordinate, and take responsibility for company workwear.

- Excellent communication and organisational skills.
