This role is available on a hybrid or fully remote arrangement. Our office is within walking distance of the train station and has free parking. Work life balance is important to us and so we are open to discussion on flexible working patterns and part-time working (minimum 4 days per week).

Role:

- Build positive working relationships with our overseas partners: Handling Agents, Hoteliers, internal departments, other group companies
- Ensure targets are met within the allocated areas
- Work to the set Health & Safety policies and procedures whilst using experience and initiative
- To check, log, organise and action where applicable submitted Accommodation (Guest & Staff), Excursion, ski School, Agent, DMC and Transport audits and checklists
- Identify and resolve any health and safety/quality issues that may exist in the following areas: Accommodation, Fire Safety, Hygiene, Gas Safety, Disabled Facilities, Transfers, Ski Schools, Activities, Customer Complaints, Customer Incident and Illness in our Overseas Program
- Plan and conduct audits on 3rd party accommodation, managed properties, Agents, Destination Management Companies, Ski School and activity suppliers. Produce relevant reports, and monitor follow-ups from suppliers
- Workplace, brand and specialist training will be provided
- Review audit results and reports to enable negotiations with suppliers to meet health and safety recommendations
- Conduct Animal Welfare review visits and audits in accordance with our AW Policy

Attend overseas briefings, plan and conduct seasonal health & Safety training for staff in allocated resorts
- Work with all teams to ensure Company Policies are reviewed and kept up to date

Investigation of Accidents & Illness reports. Liaise with internal departments and our insurance & legal agents
- Gain a full working knowledge of the Checkpoint, other supplier audit systems and databases
- Encourage a strong health and safety culture across the business, communicate risk and clarify how we can reduce exposure whilst balancing the needs of the business

Person:

- Experience of visiting overseas suppliers to conduct Health and Safety audits in regard to accommodation, activities and transport is an advantage
- Use Checkpoint/supplier audit systems to organise, send, upload and grade self-assessment audits
- Ability to identify high risk issues and raise appropriate escalations

Knowledge of using databases and Microsoft Office packages including Excel
- Excellent written and verbal communication
- Good planning and organisation skills
- Passionate about travel and delivering high levels of customer experience
- Confident team-player with the ability to build and maintain strong working relationships with internal UK teams and group companies, overseas operations, contracting and suppliers
- Ability to work to deadlines and manage workload
- Solution focused
- Clean driving license (will be required to drive abroad)
- Knowledge or French/German an advantage
- EU right to travel an advantage
- Flexibility to travel overseas, sometimes at short notice

**Salary**: £30,000.00-£32,000.00 per year
