The Role

Farnborough International requires a Health, Safety and Compliance Co-ordinator to support the Organisation and ensure the highest standards are in place throughout Farnborough International and ADS Group.

Working with the Group Health, Safety and Environment Manager they will co-ordinate, maintain, and improve Health & Safety (H&S) records and processes for Farnborough International and its parent company, ADS Group. The majority of activity is undertaken at our multi-functional venue, located in Farnborough, Hampshire with occasional travel to other UK locations. The venue welcomes upwards of 200,000 visitors a year and is home to the Farnborough International Airshow.

The Health, Safety and Compliance Co-ordinator will monitor and support the safe management of all Farnborough International activities, events, and group business activities. They will ensure compliance with relevant legislation and codes of practice and implement the company H&S Policy. They will ensure that statutory requirements are met and that records are current and updated. They will strive to deliver the highest levels of customer satisfaction combined with H&S excellence.

To co-ordinate and monitor all aspects of H&S across the company under the guidance of the Group Health, Safety and Environment Manager. To ensure that business activity, and the activity of directly managed suppliers, is carried out in line with company H&S Policy and procedures. To guide the business, ensure that all events and business activities comply with required legislation and standards, support in creating a 'safety first' culture and continuously improve H&S performance.

You will ensure that safety controls are considered in the implementation of wider business needs and are at the heart of the customer journey and experience. You will understand and interpret business or client needs and use this understanding to reach agreeable solutions.

You will proactively feedback and raise issues to Group Health, Safety and Environment Manager for improvement/best practice and continually review your own ways of working in the interest of continuous improvement and innovation.

You will strive to utilise technology to simplify operations, making them more efficient wherever possible. You will review systems used to ensure they are still current and meet the specific business needs.

The Contract

Salary: £25,000 to 30,000 depending on experience

Contract; Permanent, fulltime role, Monday to Friday, 37.5 hours per week, flexible to work some weekends

Location; Hybrid working- 3 days in the Farnborough office and 2 days from home, dependant on business needs
