Join us as an Innovation & Partnerships Cluster Lead
- Join our Innovation & Partnerships (I&P) team at NatWest that creates strategically aligned partnerships and co-develops solutions, products and experiences that deliver against our commercial and strategic business objectives
- This is an opportunity for a motivated and capable leader to play a central role in setting the cluster innovation agenda for NatWest, working with senior teams across the bank to identify and execute opportunities and partnerships for purposeful growth

**What you'll do**:
As an Innovation & Partnerships Cluster Lead, we'll look to you to drive outcomes aligned to our growth strategy, and lead our innovation agenda in areas including Embedded Finance, Sustainable Transitions and Hyperpersonalisation. You’ll be accountable for executing a specific cluster growth agenda by working collaboratively across the bank and with a range of different external partners in line with the bank’s strategic priorities and policy frameworks. You’ll lead a small team to develop the bank’s engagement with different partners and identify and drive mutually valuable relationships.

In addition, you'll develop our growth agenda, catalysing relevant innovation and partnerships activities from across the bank. Working collaboratively with stakeholders, you’ll identify and understand prioritised focus areas for exploration and build a robust portfolio of high potential opportunities. You’ll represent the bank in managing expert input to systematically validate opportunity areas and steer the allocation of resources.

You’ll also:

- Develop, motivate, and empower a cluster team by embedding a culture of collaborative experimentation and innovation
- Understand how the bank engages with different partnership ecosystems and how these inform external opportunities in collaboration with other I&P teams and programs
- Identify and prioritise opportunities by leading partner negotiations on behalf of the bank through to deal closure and in compliance with policy
- Manage stakeholder relationships, making sure that all activities have robust sponsorship and alignment through to handover into the core business
- Represent I&P and the cluster growth agenda as a core member of the relevant organisation's governance committees and through any required governance process

**The skills you'll need**:
We’re looking for an individual with experience of building a coordinated portfolio of work or external engagements and leading a team to manage projects through multiple phases. You’ll have the ability to demonstrate collaborative ideas and opportunities of relevant technology trends in financial services and other sectors externally.

You’ll already be strategic thinker with demonstrable experience of creating and executing strategy using your outstanding written and verbal communication skills.

In addition, you’ll demonstrate:

- An awareness of different ecosystems and their impact on customers
- A broad understanding of financial services strategies
- The ability to shape, nurture and deliver significant projects and partnerships, initiating and managing commercial negotiations and taking concepts forward to conclusion
- Critical thinking skills, enabling you to cut through complexity, and make sound decisions and recommendations that are carefully balanced against risk
