As Settlements Specialist, you will be part of the SaltPay "Group-Treasury" team. The treasury team at SaltPay is a key pillar within the business and finance groups. With ambitious growth plans, SaltPay is at a critical juncture in its transformational journey. The role of the Settlements Specialist is to define an optimised settlement strategy, robust controls and comprehensive reporting, ensuring a strong foundation to support the business and its growth objectives. The Settlements Specialist will be a core member of the "Group-Treasury" team within the Global Finance organisation.
**Your Mission**
- Key participant on the definition and implementation of the global settlement strategy which includes acquiring, issuing and lending verticals with a key focus on interoperability across geographies;
- Responsible for implementing DCC product and designing FX future roadmap across SaltPay's different business lines;
- Ownership for the settlements integration of new acquisitions into the company, including integrating the new acquiree into SaltPay's settlements systems, processes, and safeguarding framework from a currency perspective;
**Your Story**
- Minimum of 4+ years of experience in FX or DCC within a fintech or large financial institution;
- Solid technical knowledge in safeguarding, schemes, settlements and clearing mechanisms with a strong focus in FX and DCC;
- Prior working knowledge on safeguarding, schemes, settlements and clearing mechanisms;
- Relevant degree or certification;
- Ability to gather, organise and use data for all decisions;
- Experience of working within a fast-paced multi-national environment;
- Excellent communication skills, oral and written;
- Ability to communicate effectively to a variety of audiences;
- Ability to deal with non-routine problems, ability to establish priorities;
