Disability Services is delighted to advertise this exciting opportunity for an administrative assistant to join our team at the University of Manchester.
You will provide a critical role in contributing to an exemplar student and staff-centred specialist advice and guidance service. Your role involves providing clerical, reception and administrative support for key activities of Disability Services including Disabled Students’ Allowances, externally funded assessment processes and internal procedures to support compliance with the University’s Equality Act (2010) obligations.
You will provide information and guidance to prospective and current disabled students, disabled members of staff and colleagues from around the University relating to internal and external support services, including funding processes.
You will have excellent interpersonal, accuracy and communication skills; be confident in process driven work and be able to work independently as well as part of a team.
