Overview of the role
To work with the education providers (namely Pharmacy Schools) and internal stakeholders to create clinical placements and wider support materials that promote community pharmacy and add value to our pharmacies and business.

Main Responsibilities
- Work with the Pharmacy Schools to ensure all placements supported by Well are aligned to the Entrustable Professional Activities (EPAs)
- Create a suite of tools and activities that enable students to perform EPAs in our pharmacies safely and effectively
- Support Universities with development of the materials used by students on placements
- Create and deliver professional and clinical content to Universities e.g. lectures
- Create and deliver professional and clinical content through online mechanisms to help increase our brand awareness
- Evaluate placements and use this to shape future offering
- Provide support to placement supervisors to meet the needs of the placements by upskilling them to support EPAs
- Raise awareness across the business of clinical placements and the value they add
- Lead on the relationship with the BPSA to ensure this continues to benefit the organisation
- Support internal and external comms plan to promote Well and Bestway Healthcare
- Support placement coordinator with reviewing of legal agreements for undergraduate placements and other activities where required
- Support with Schools of Pharmacy careers fairs to improve and increase brand awareness
- Liaise with internal stakeholders to provide content and support for engagement events with Universities
- Develop placements for other healthcare professionals to support the development of the integrated healthcare workforce
- Develop work experience tools, documents and processes to enable college students to gain community pharmacy experience, providing a pipeline for a variety of roles within our retail estate

**Knowledge skills & experience**:

- GPhC registered Pharmacist
- Competent in IT solutions including Excel, Word and PowerPoint
- Experience of working to key objectives and managing own work and delivering to agreed timelines
- Experience of working in a collaborative capacity is essential
- Logical, methodical ways of working
- Experience of working across teams to achieve results
- Good communication skills, both written and oral including presentation skills
- Experience of data management and report writing

- Prioritises workload to meet the core needs of the programmes to include daily, monthly responsibilities as well as short defined and unplanned tasks.
