**Hours**: Full Time Hours (48 Hours)
**Shifts**: 12-hour shifts, Days, Nights, Weekends, or a combination based on availability
We are seeking a full-time Clinical Lead - Mental Health Nurse (RMN) with experience in managing challenging behaviors. Join our organization that prioritizes the well-being of its staff.
**Responsibilities**:
- Assisting the Home Manager and Deputy Manager in leading, motivating, and developing the staff team
- Ensuring full compliance with CQC and Local authority regulations
- Updating and assessing care plans
- Providing clinical care to residents and setting a standard of excellence for other nurses
- Supporting nursing and care staff on the floor
- Managing medication administration and record-keeping
**Applicant Requirements**:
- 3-4 years of experience in senior nursing or clinical lead roles
- NMC qualified RMN with a valid PIN
- Friendly, patient-oriented demeanor
- Strong computer literacy and leadership skills
- High level of clinical skills with attention to detail
- Previous experience in a Nursing Home setting preferred
**Additional Responsibilities**:
- Conducting assessments of Residents and developing individualized care plans
- Administering medications and monitoring effectiveness
- Collaborating with a multidisciplinary team for comprehensive care
- Monitoring Residents for changes in behavior or symptoms
- Maintaining accurate and up-to-date medical records
**Skills Required**:
- In-depth knowledge of mental health-related anatomy, physiology, and psychology
- Strong assessment and diagnostic skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to provide compassionate care and support
- Proficiency in administering medications and monitoring effects
- Knowledge of therapeutic interventions and counseling techniques
- Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team environment
