**About us**
The Regional Team works closely with partners in the local authority, and in voluntary and community organisations across Cardiff and the Vale of Glamorgan. We support a regional programme of change, to deliver the requirements of the Social Services and Well-being (Wales) Act and other key pieces of legislation. The Regional Team plays a key role in the promotion and maintenance of Dewis Cymru. Dewis Cymru is a resource directory that provides information about the range of locally available well-being services and gives people choice and control over the services they engage with, helping them to find practical sources of help and support.

**About the role**
Pay Details: Grade 4 (£21,575- £22,369) pro rata

Hours of Work: 30 hrs per week (could be considered as suitable for job share)

Working Pattern: Monday to Friday (actual days to be determined on appointment) Main Place of Work: Co-located in Dominions Way Cardiff, Barry Docks Office, Barry and home working

Description: Reporting to the Regional Project Manager, the Regional Project Assistant will
- Work with partners from across Cardiff and the Vale of Glamorgan to develop and maintain Dewis Cymru.
- Be responsible for improving the accuracy and volume of services on Dewis Cymru
- Support the Project Manager with outreach and other regional activities to raise awareness of Dewis Cymru.
- Influence and motivate individuals, staff, and organisations to use Dewis.
- Assist with training, demonstrations, and the provision of advice and guidance to staff or local groups on information requirements and the use of Dewis.
- Support the delivery of the Regional Sustainable Social Service Programme through day-to-day activities in running the programme and its associated work streams.

**About you**
You will need:

- To be self-motivated and able to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent communication skills, and the ability to enthuse and motivate others.
- Confidence to support others with training, demonstrating, and providing guidance to staff or local groups
- Excellent computer skills, experience of updating records and ensuring accuracy of information and attention to detail.
- Excellent organisation skills including the ability to organise meetings and events.
- A good standard level of education.
- The ability to prioritise workloads and work under pressure
- To be able to travel between work bases in Cardiff and the Vale of Glamorgan and throughout the two local authority areas as required.
- Proven experience of working in a social care, or a similar organisation.
