**Head of Communications and Marketing**:

- Spider is advertising on behalf of the largest independent business organisation in Suffolk, has an exciting opportunity for a new full-time **Head of Communications and Marketing**to help shape and deliver our communications and marketing programme supporting the Suffolk business community, and to ensure we remain the leading voice of business in Suffolk.

Our respected and well-established team is seeking an experienced and motivated leader to be the **Head of Communications and Marketing**to build upon our reputation and drive engagement and growth through our various communications and marketing channels. You will be accountable to pro-actively deliver a comprehensive communications, content,and marketing strategy for our business in this newly reshaped role, to champion our initiatives and services, manage our digital magazine, and to oversee the refresh of our website to maximise engagement and engagement of our business.

We are looking for an experienced leader who is ambitious and passionate about communications and marketing, who has innovative ideas and a willingness to get stuck in.

Working with the wider team, you will define strategic objectives and execution tactics across daily communications, news and campaigns that elevate and create awareness of teh organisation and increasing membership, income, and engagement. You will alsoline manage a Marketing and Communications Coordinator to assist you with your role.

This exciting role will suit a creative, dynamic, and self-motivated leader with the experience and ability to lead the strategic development and delivery of our communications and marketing channels, with a strong work ethic and the ability to oversee anumber of projects, and a positive and flexible approach to working.

**Essential skills required for theHead of Communications and Marketing**:

- Significant, demonstrable, and wide-ranging experience of leading and delivering communications and marketing in business.
- Demonstrable experience in implementing communications and marketing plans and a working knowledge of marketing methodologies.
- Practical experience of Canva, Mailchimp, video, and social media platforms to create and disseminate content.
- Experience of writing, proofing and editing content, including press releases.
- Experience of managing a website, including creating and editing content
- Excellent interpersonal, written, verbal and creative skills.

Independent travel across the region is a requirement for this role, as you will at times be required to attend external meetings and events.

In return you will have the opportunity to take on an exciting and influential position within the county’s leading business forum and within a friendly, flexible, supportive, and proactive office environment.

We are offering a salary of £30,000 - £35,000 per annum depending on experience. You will also be entitled to onsite parking, company pension, healthcare package, with opportunities for hybrid working and 23 days holiday (annual increase after three years’employment to a maximum of 25 days) plus Bank Holidays.
