We are looking for self-motivated, committed Dietitian to provide a quality dietetic service. You will be a key player within the dietetic team working across both the oncology and community integrated team.

You will manage a caseload of nutritionally vulnerable patients in both the oncology and community settings across Ipswich and East Suffolk including but not limited to, home visits, outpatient clinics in both the acute and community settings, community hospitals and the hospice. You will be working closely with assistant practitioners' and technical instructors in both areas to deliver this service.

You will have the opportunity to gain some experience of working as part of multi-disciplinary team within oncology and from working with other specialist dietitians including but not limited to the areas of home enteral tube feeding and head and neck cancer.

A range of skills is required for this post, including excellent communication skills and the ability to manage a busy workload. The post-holder should be someone who enjoys working within a team and is eager to provide support to others.

We are a well
- recognised department for student training in partnership with the University of Hertfordshire, and you will have an active role in supporting this programme and we currently have 2 apprentice Dietitians within the department. The trust is also committed with AHP research and has recently gained resource to support this within the trust.
