**The Role**

We are to looking to expand our team with a passionate full time Regional Trainer, specialising in Care, with the ability to adapt to Business Training. This is an exciting opportunity for someone looking to make a difference. You will be responsible for developing the people and processes that result in quality care being delivered to our clients.

Essential car driver, with a willingness to travel to our sites across the North of England with occasional early starts and late finishes. Experience in Health and Social Care would be an advantage.

**Regional Trainer**
- Carry out induction and update training, creating and delivering relevant training for any identified gaps.
- Deliver on-boarding programmes, training activities and learning programmes across the functions, for care centred professionals.
- Assist with creating and maintaining training and development documentation (e.g. guides, processes, templates); and to develop and manage supporting tool-kits around development.
- Assist in producing training material for in-house courses and programmes and facilitate delivery of training.
- Assist in continually assessing and evaluating the quality of all learning and development re-sources to ensure they are fit for purpose and provide value for money.
- Where needed carry out spot checks on staff who are delivering care and support.
- Strive for quality in everything you do, recognising and understanding what quality in care means for service users.
- Maintain training operations at the standard agreed with the Registered Manager, Director of Care and Quality & Compliance team and wider business.
- Take responsibility and seek opportunities for your own personal & professional development through performance and development reviews and undertake any training as required.
- Support, mentor, coach, develop and sustain a professional, skilled and motivated care team.
- Maintain and deliver fully up to date relevant training empower staff to deliver safe and effective, quality care.
- Regularly seek feedback from all stakeholders and implement changes and improvements according to feedback.
- Keep up-to-date with current care standards & CQC training expectations and implement accordingly.
- Liaise with other professionals regarding T&D.

**What we are looking for**
- A driver will a full, clean drivers licence is essential for this role
- Flexibility to travel to our sites
- Previous experience working as a Trainer in care would be beneficial
- Proficient written & problem solving skills
- Knowledge in CQC regulations and requirements would be an advantage
