**Job Purpose**:
Provide a wide range of finance transactional services and activities to support the efficient and timely processing across the team and to deal with finance related queries.

**Main accountabilities**:

- Responsible for the processing starters, leavers and movers in payroll for input into payroll system and logging all payroll queries and responding as required.
- Undertaking weekly and monthly payroll and control accounts reconciliations.
- Responsible for processing employee expenses through the expenses system and credit card and training users.
- Respond to queries from internal and external stakeholders to provide information and resolve queries.
- Understand the key deadlines and priorities in the team and plan and prioritise work to facilitate effective and efficient service delivery.
- Process the bank statements onto the finance system for reconciliation and identify any issues to be resolved.
- Operate flexibly to provide cover across the finance team to maintain a consistent and high-quality finance service, providing cover for all team activities where required to facilitate effective and efficient service delivery.

**Knowledge, skills and abilities**:

- Experience of providing information to, and dealing with, internal and external stakeholders.
- Proven ability to plan and prioritise workload and respond to stakeholder queries in a busy office environment.
- Experience at dealing with financial transactions and reconciliations in a previous role.
- Strong knowledge of Excel and reporting
- Strong numerical, financial and analytical skills

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: From £23,000.00 per year
